We arrived late at this property due to stormy weather, but Joan was there to great us with a smile and our rooms were warm and ready! Room was comfy and warm and breakfast cozy and delicious! Joan also spent time helping us plan a drive through the Cotswolds towns. She is a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests stay wonderful. Room was so clean and the shower was hot! One of our bests stays during a 12 day UK trip.

Wonderful inn in small village in southern Cotswolds. Room was modern, big, comfortable, clean. Terrific old part of the inn had great pub/restaurant. Hot breakfast was very good. Some nice walking trails just outside the door. Most of all the very friendly staff made the stay very enjoyable.

Breakfast was good, with great service.
Room was clean enough (except for mould on the window frame) but the bed was terrible - felt like the mattress was on concrete blocks - don't book room 7.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The room was clean and well decorated, with access direct to the car-park (albeit via stairs). The location was great for stretching my legs after the drive, as the Inn is set on the edge of a village green in an area with interesting architecture. I ate in the evening and really enjoyed the meal.
The accommodation was very clean throughout and I had a great nights sleep on a fantastic bed with soft pillows. Bathroom was great with combo bath and shower. Plenty of hot water.
Kitchenette was well equiped. I can't remember seeing a toaster and so just used the grill. Food from the Resturant was very nice, with both a Menu and Chef's Specials.
I'd definately visit the Bell Inn again...
