Woolpack Inn, hotel in Faversham

In picturesque Chilham, Woolpack Inn is surrounded by scenic Kent countryside.

Location lovely (you need a car), friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food, comfortable beds, lovely clean rooms. A couple of hooks on the door in the bathroom would have been helpful, but it is only a minor point. Our labrador, Ella, was also made very welcome! Shame we didn't see the ghost, but maybe next year - we are already planning our next visit!

The Maidens Chambers, hotel in Faversham

Located in Canterbury, 200 metres from Canterbury East Train Station, The Maidens Chambers provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

situated only a 10 min. stroll from the city centre so no need to drive. Parking is free at the location. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The food was very good although they do not serve breakfast there are establishments close by. The food in the pub was lovely and not over priced. Although on a busy main road you are not disturbed by the traffic and if by chance you are a light sleeper they provide ear plugs, we did nit use them.

Fabulous inn. I was a bit worried about noise, but needn't have been. Beautiful room with glorious bed. Super-helpful staff. Excellent food (breakfast very good, evening meal perfect). Just great.

Great location! Absolutely gorgeous! Went for dinner at the white lion a pub up the road which we got 10% off food as we was staying at the snuggle hut!

We loved the historic hotel, with beams and an enclosed courtyard. The Inn is located in a very central location in a medieval street. The breakfast was really good with a lot of vegetarian & vegan options.

Very quaint traditional inn. Room was really lovely, very clean and spacious and nicely decorated. Plenty of amenities (toiletries, tea/coffee etc). Staff were lovely, shown to our room (it’s an old inn so not easy to find!) and no issues with us having my husbands bike in the room with us (he was in an event next day). Food was good and promptly served, the garden area is lovely. Only comment would be for some reimbursement for parking for overnight guests, but that’s pretty standard these days.

Bed was so comfortable. Spacious room, cleanliness was faultless. En-suite very nice indeed. In line with rest of hotel, modern and masculine decor which was very nice and gave a relaxed feel. Dinner in the Fire Pit restaurant was incredible. Good menu choices. Decent wine list. But pricey! Breakfast not included in room price. Was also pricey but delicious. Pool area was intimate and peaceful. Amazing.
