This place doesn’t look much from the outside but is a very nicely renovated building. Lovely curved stone staircase leading up to the first floor rooms. Gorgeous bathroom (no bath) but double size walk in shower with large waterfall shower head. Large basin, room for two people side by side. A communal kitchen if you want to cook but also a small under counter fridge in the bedroom.

First of all the staff was very welcoming and looked after us very well and the property is in centre of the town so it was easier for us to travel around also the free parking was very convenient.

Great location, really good price and the breakfast is amazing value.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Decor was superb, shame about the tv in the bed room but that didn't distract us from the whole complex, superb. Kitchen, lounge, bathroom bedrooms brilliant, I'd say the mattresses were even BETTER than Premiere Inn, SO SO GOOD. Do not be put off by what you see. No problems with parking or area. Glasgow and Edinburgh are quite within reach, 30 min on train either way. Area built from granite and stone and concrete. It gives a look but doesn't reflect the true area for friendly atmosphere.
Good choice of food for breakfast. Within walking distance to train station for trains to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Nice park opposite the property for an after dinner stroll. Easy to park the car with an overflow car park behind the hotel
Breakfast Very Good, missed poached eggs. Room good, clean. Dinner had lots of different meals, very nice, skate meal and veg was best, puff pastry on steak pie, year on year served raw, meat very good. Great stay.
The private bathroom was good, plenty of room and plenty of hot water! The room itself was okay, not very big though.
Single beds were comfortable enough. We had dinner in the downstairs pub which was very nice. The location was very close to town area, within walking distance. The staff at the pub/accommodation were very very helpful, and there was even parking for our car.
