Lovely welcome from staff member. The restaurant looked very inviting. We were shown to our room, which was really nice. Everything we needed was there. The bed was comfy. A plentiful continental breakfast was brought to our room in a picnic basket at 9am the next day.

Friendly greeting and pub vibe. Room was perfect, we were warned about potential noise of live music etc, but no events on the evening we stayed. Room had more than we expected, tea/coffee etc, fresh orange juice and mini fridge. Clean, hot shower and enjoyed our stay…perfect for our trip to the Thursford Spectacular. It was also a ‘proper’ pub & hope it stays that way 🤞Will stay again, thank you!

Friendly and helpful welcome. Room cosy however great for our one night stay. Evening meal excellent and very attentive re my gluten and dairy intolerance and I still had plenty of choice. Would stay again.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Everything was great!! Tanya in the bar made us very welcome!! Actually all the staff did!! Would defo stay again! Breakfast was fab!! The veggie roast dinner was also amazing!!
Lovely location and setting. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Liked the little added touch of the flask of fresh milk and the Tunnocks Tea Cakes in the room. Good coffee machine with decent coffee and a decent sized kettle in the room. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Breakfast was also very good and the staff were friendly.
A great location for Fakenham, a quiet area and only 10 minutes walk from town.
The house is lovely and well set up, parking was no issue (you cannot park right outside though as the street is pedestrian access only). All the basics were available in the house; washing up liquid, shower gel, towels, tea, coffee etc. All the appliances in the kitchen worked and we were able to cook dinner. We had no need for contact with the host, but messages were quicky replied to. The internet worked well. The heating worked well and the shower worked well.
It was just where we needed to be , we had tickets for Thursford Christmas Spectacular so staying here was just right the room was big with a comfortable bed and warm had a very large bathroom, the breakfast was excellent a help yourself set up really enjoyed it , the first night we had dinner at the hotel I had Lamb which was to die for my Husband had Gamon which he said was very good.
This inn looks really quaint from the outside but the inside has been totally renovated and modernised.
