The room and bathroom were a decent size. Staff were super attentive and went out of their way to resolve any queries.
Breakfast that was included was very good!
Great location with a pleasant beer garden.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The location is superb and the combination of the more modern part of the building for rooms with the atmospheric historic Inn and dining area is great, The restaurant had a good selection of meals and the breakfast was just what was needed for a wintery day too. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Another good stay at Innkeeper's Collection. Room extremely clean and towels changed as per usual - on floor clean ones required. Breakfast is good value and enjoyed the use of the carvery.
Added to our places to stay list.
This is a place I visit because it is a historic inn, giving a sense of cultural continuity with our collective history. I like old artifacts, prints, bottles, earthenware etc.
Excellent accessible room extremely clean, and comfortable large bed.
When disabled space was slightly blocked by a van on our arrival staff got the vehicle moved immediately.
Breakfast was also great. This is our first time using a Toby innkeeper We will be making another booking in the future
we we’re running Exeter half marathon, the guest house was in a perfect location for the start and also to walk into Exeter the night before for dinner.
Our host was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. We had a sea and harbour view from our windows. A good selection to eat at breakfast, and a short walk to two really nice Inns to dine out in the evening. There is a bar at the guest house to get a drink in the evening. A pleasant and comfortable stay, thank you Maddi
I like to stay at the innkeepers collection when I visit Exeter as its so easy to get to and handy for the town centre..Sometimes the price per night is a bit pricey so I book when there's a good deal on to coincide with my next visit.
