Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

The New Inn hotel is a lovely hotel in a great location with friendly, helpful staff, we had a small issue with dinner one night and the staff went out of their way to resolve it. Love that they have a separate vegan menu too, it was so nice to have choices. A great location for exploring the North east.

Breakfast was really nice, staff very pleasant, I arrived to late for dinner "8pm Sunday" so drove into Ellon to pick something up. room / bathroom was clean, enough (but there's never enough) coffee and biscuits. and also bottled water. can only assume that the breakfast was good that the evening food would also be the same.

We stayed here for three nights and it was the best! Comfy, good location for our daily trips around Aberdeenshire, the host was really friendly and had great suggestions for what to see and prepared a delicious breakfast that kept us full until dinner. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Staff were super friendly. We only booked in for one night but would definitely go back. Food was exceptionally good, fantastic choice for dinner and massive portion sizes. Fantastic value for money. Breakfast choice was also amazing and very filling. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Highly recomend.

The staff were very welcoming and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The real treat were the meals. Breakfast was outstanding with options for all and two special Scottish choices. Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent with generous helpings and value. NJ
