Clean and well appointed. The check in was accomplished by the bartender at the connected Black Horse pub. He was very welcoming and helped us get to our rooms with our bags. The room and en-suite were clean and modern. Security was emphasized. Parking was behind the pub. The price was reasonable.

Lovely location to stay. Staff exceptionally friendly and so were the locals. The food was gorgeous. And it was the best breakfast we have had, it will keep you going for the day. The room was lovely and clean and very comfortable beds.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
I loved every minute of my stay here. Like others I didn’t want to leave and stayed until the very last minute! The hut and surrounding areas are beautiful. I made sure I came back early evenings to enjoy my dinner and glass of wine in the peace and tranquility whilst enjoying the views.
Beautiful and unique place to stay, very interesting. Enjoyed the continental breakfast in the cafe before it opened, lovely view of the gardens.
Recommend The New Board Inn nearby.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as was the one dinner I had. Room was clean and thoroughly freshened up each day.
Close to Durham city and also convenient for AI(M).
I liked the cozy atmosphere of the Victoria Inn, the friendliness of the staff. My bed was very comfortable and the room including the bathroom was very clean.
I really appreciated that I was provided two bottles of water everyday free of charge, as well as a selection of tea bags and coffee-
The staff who were from another inn to cover were fabulous. They worked really hard supporting the guests needs as best they could.
Evening meal choices limited. However, what was ordered was fresh and well presented.
