Would have been nice to have sausage with the breakfast, it was more continental than full scottish.

We got the room with the ocean view, which was new and very comfy. The weather was cold (August 2024), but we had heated room in the morning. People were extremely friendly, polite and accommodating (we arrived later than expected and they stayed longer to make us dinner).
There is small store beside having all kind of food to go. Very convenient for travelers.

We have stayed here a few times now. Always welcoming with wonderful staff and very dog friendly such is a real draw for us as we travel with two dogs.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Dinner was delicious, Breakfast was good and it was table service which was lovely. You get to choose your breakfast each evening. Staff were lovely. Comfortable bed and room had everything we needed.
Highly recommend this fantastic and lovely old inn! Amazing location, food, staff, and service, and super cosy, comfortable, and clean room. I will definitely be back.
