Lovely location and restaurant but bedroom wasn’t up to standard of the price paid.
Situated in Alton Pancras and with Monkey World reachable within 27 km, Brace of Pheasants features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We had a super few days. Toby was so helpful during our stay. Fabulous location and views. It was so peaceful and relaxing too. Everything you could need for the kitchen and bathrooms was there. Loved the walk on the coast path to the Smugglers Inn and enjoyed some yummy food. Also the cafe in the carpark does some delicious food too. Would definitely stay here again :-)
Very handy for the Tank Museum and Monkey World. Sunday roast dinner was good value and to our taste with lots of tasty gravy. Members of staff very cheerful and helpful. Camera overseeing car park, with screens in reception. All the requirements in room, and a powerful, easy to use shower. Clean. Nice little courtyard at front with comfortable chairs and grassy area at back with benches and children's things.
Good location for visiting the area, very quiet and peaceful. Car parking was easy and free. The draft beer was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient, The room was clean and furnished in the stile of the hotel even though the hotel was built in 2016 in the model town that showcases the vision of King Charles III. Dinner was excellent with friendly service.
A Lovely counryside Inn,rooms very nice, very clean and quite, great food and big breakfast.Lovely hosts nothing to much trouble. Central for touring Weymouth coast and adjoining resorts.Would not hesitate to return.
