All the staff are very friendly and we were really well looked after. The food was great, our room was very comfy, spotless and had a fantastic view. The pub area is very cosy with great beer.

I loved the location, the brilliant service and cleanliness.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Lovely Inn in a beautiful location. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately can't comment on evening meals as we didn't eat in the Inn. Would definitely recommend and would return.
Location was fabulous, the pub was a delight, full of character and originality,
Dinner was good, had to eat in bar as we had the dog but that was fine,
Breakfast was freshly made and very tasty, loved the tea cups, both meals served by a very lovely and friendly lady.
Will definitely return.
Excellent dinner. Great friendly atmosphere, locals very friendly. Very good breakfast. Wonderful location. Very friendly staff. A real gem of a place. Excellent value. Would definitely stay there again. So
The welcome and hospitality at the Duke of Wellington were excellent. We stayed for three nights and used the restaurant for dinner throughout our stay. The breakfast and dinner menu choices were really good and our meals were all delicious, the steak and ale pie was amazing. Our room was delightful, quiet and very comfortable. Danby is a great location for exploring the moors by foot, bike or car. Good access to Whitby and Scarborough.
Lovely country Inn great location, staff were really friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Two minute walk to Moors for great walking trails. Recommend this Inn to all ages.
We stayed for a single night but were made very welcome. The room was spacious and very nice, with a clean and very functional en-suite. The food, dinner and breakfast, was very good, as was the Wensleydale Bitter
