Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

A small hotel with a garden with mature beech and pine trees. Very quite . I liked the 2 tables at the front of the hotel to sit in the sun with a pre dinner beer

We loved the atmosphere of the hotel. There was lots of freedom and space for our grandchildren. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinners were also good both evenings. Lots of entertainment.

This hotel has been recently refurbished with modern decor retaining some of the original features of the old inn. There is a cosy bar and the restaurant is exceptional, serving modern Scottish food and using local ingredients. The staff are very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about wines and whiskey.Breakfast was a delight again using Scottish foods such as haggis and potato scones if you want them.

Lovely welcome at reception and particularly impressed that I was told I could use the hotel facilities for the rest of the following day - after check out at 11.00. Fantastic facilities - good dinner (the lamb was delicious!), superb breakfast. An excellent stay. I have a soft spot for the Hydro having stayed as a child, then a conference delegate, but it’s good to see that it continues to be an amazing family hotel

Great little pub hotel. The staff were fantastic!! It was nice to stay in such a friendly place. The room was basic but met our needs. Dinner & drinks in the bar was warm and friendly. The hotel is right in the centre of town.

The Guest House was Quaint and unique with an old country style feel to it. There was a wide variety of breakfast choices and the food was lovely and well cooked. The rooms were clean with fresh bedding and towels. The owners of the Guest house were very friendly. Marian took an interest in our reasons for visiting and made us feel very welcome.

Brilliant customer service from Andrew. Easy to deal with and flexible to react to our needs especially when rearranging our dinner time due to speed of on Gleneagles golf course! Good size clean rooms with comfortable beds and en suite. Delicious evening meal offering and hearty breakfast.
