The pub has a great atmosphere & had lots of locals in when we arrived .We were greeted by Jasmine the very friendly & professional landlady who straight away made us feel welcome & could not do enough for us throughout our stay.
We had an evening meal there on the first night ( as we were attending a wedding on the second night ) which was very tasty , reasonably priced & nicely presented . Breakfast on both mornings of our stay again was really enjoyable , lots of choice & because we made our choice the night before was served quickly , highly recommend full English which was filling without being overfacing.
Our room was cosy & had a comfy bed, fluffy towels etc. The pub is located in a beautiful Cotswold village but close to popular attractions to visit.

Beautiful pub/inn. With so much character. Very small village and isolated but we loved that. Staff was so lovely and the dinner we had was excellent. Wasn’t expecting it to be so good.

We've been traveling across Europe and the UK for weeks. Queen Matilda's was one of our favorite places. Jo was a lovely host, very genuine, informative about the area, and gave us a fantastic breakfast before we said good-bye.
The room was beautiful, bed and linens were so comfortable. Can't say enough good things about it.

The Fleece is conveniently located on the main street in Cirencester. We had asked for a quiet room and received a reply that we would have a quiet room in the back of the building. But what we were given was a room at the very top peak in the front of the hotel on a busy street. We requested another room and were given a room above the kitchen where the kitchen fan ran all night. They told us there were no other rooms. While the bed was comfortable, it was almost impossible to sleep listening to the rumble below us. The bathroom looked nothing like the photos online. Wish I had taken a photo, but it was old with a step-up shower and louvered doors. Not clean or modern. If you can get a room with a bath like the online photos, I suppose this might be an acceptable hotel.
In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company.

Wonderful inn in small village in southern Cotswolds. Room was modern, big, comfortable, clean. Terrific old part of the inn had great pub/restaurant. Hot breakfast was very good. Some nice walking trails just outside the door. Most of all the very friendly staff made the stay very enjoyable.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Absolutely, beautiful setting. Beautiful large room was able to spend the evening there comfortably.. Amazing breakfast. Great staff. Lovely reasonable prices for dinner. A huge bed was a surprise.
A beautiful old Inn with modern facilities, but still the look and feel of an Inn. Friendly staff, excellent food, picturesque location, beautiful character room.
We had a very large and comfy room. Quaint pub atmosphere. We were invited to join the bingo that night. Loved that pub vibe. Breakfast was ok. Enjoyed the dinners,
Stay was only one night as passing through. Checked in with ease, and staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Room was clean and homey - simple, but it had everything, including tea and coffee facilities. Restaurant was great for dinner and drinks.
Everything about it was sensational. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Breakfast and dinner was by far my best we’ve had so far. Don’t drive past this beautiful pub without going in for a drink /meal or a night there. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer.
Staff were incredibly lovely. The best thing about this place! We had issue with the bath provided instead of a shower and they were very helpful in getting us a different room. Breakfast was very tasty. Dinner at the pub was also delicious.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The beer garden in the back is very nice. The service was friendly and professional.
The historic Inn is beautiful, the room was neat, clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the location is excellent.
