The Bathurst Arms, hotel in Colesbourne

Located 8.9 miles from Cotswold Water Park, The Bathurst Arms offers 4-star accommodations in Cirencester and has a restaurant, a bar and water sports facilities.

The pub has a great atmosphere & had lots of locals in when we arrived .We were greeted by Jasmine the very friendly & professional landlady who straight away made us feel welcome & could not do enough for us throughout our stay. We had an evening meal there on the first night ( as we were attending a wedding on the second night ) which was very tasty , reasonably priced & nicely presented . Breakfast on both mornings of our stay again was really enjoyable , lots of choice & because we made our choice the night before was served quickly , highly recommend full English which was filling without being overfacing. Our room was cosy & had a comfy bed, fluffy towels etc. The pub is located in a beautiful Cotswold village but close to popular attractions to visit.

We've been traveling across Europe and the UK for weeks. Queen Matilda's was one of our favorite places. Jo was a lovely host, very genuine, informative about the area, and gave us a fantastic breakfast before we said good-bye. The room was beautiful, bed and linens were so comfortable. Can't say enough good things about it.

The Fleece at Cirencester, hotel in Colesbourne

Located in Cirencester town center, The Fleece at Cirencester is a 300-year old, Grade II listed building features original beams and log fires.

The Fleece is conveniently located on the main street in Cirencester. We had asked for a quiet room and received a reply that we would have a quiet room in the back of the building. But what we were given was a room at the very top peak in the front of the hotel on a busy street. We requested another room and were given a room above the kitchen where the kitchen fan ran all night. They told us there were no other rooms. While the bed was comfortable, it was almost impossible to sleep listening to the rumble below us. The bathroom looked nothing like the photos online. Wish I had taken a photo, but it was old with a step-up shower and louvered doors. Not clean or modern. If you can get a room with a bath like the online photos, I suppose this might be an acceptable hotel.

The Crown Inn, hotel in Colesbourne

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company.

Wonderful inn in small village in southern Cotswolds. Room was modern, big, comfortable, clean. Terrific old part of the inn had great pub/restaurant. Hot breakfast was very good. Some nice walking trails just outside the door. Most of all the very friendly staff made the stay very enjoyable.

The Slaughters Country Inn, hotel in Colesbourne

2 rooms connected in a way that we had privacy and so did my daughter’s family but it was easy to be together also.

Everything about it was sensational. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Breakfast and dinner was by far my best we’ve had so far. Don’t drive past this beautiful pub without going in for a drink /meal or a night there. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer.

Staff were incredibly lovely. The best thing about this place! We had issue with the bath provided instead of a shower and they were very helpful in getting us a different room. Breakfast was very tasty. Dinner at the pub was also delicious.
