The Staff, especially James, were excellent as Showing us our room / Front of House / Taking Orders, he was all over the place.
Food for Dinner and Freshly Cooked Breakfast (Included) no complaints.
Very quiet, might be time of year though looks like in the summer it will have a lot of Guests outdoor in the Garden.
Great standard of Decoration.
Perfect for visiting Duxford Museum
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed our meals at both dinner and breakfast. The breakfast, in particular, was excellent. Our room was comfortable with a good bathroom.
Room was very cosy and comfortable, breakfast was amazing. The pictures on the website don’t do this little place justice. So much nicer in person. Dinner at the cricketers was to a high standard and very tasty. I would definitely recommend and I would return if needed again in the future.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and important as a guest. The pre dinner walk locally, the exceptional dinner and breakfast were superb. The room was very comfortable, with easy access to the restaurant and bar.
Dinner very good, bit pricey for what it was but never the less very well done.
Cooked breakfast was perfect amount for me, not too much but if you needed more you could always take from the buffet ( scrambled egg was very nice but if you only add butter to the eggs & not milk, the milk won't separate out ) Excellent standard of products used for breakfast also.
The Cricketers is a pleasant, old-fashioned pub with a well-appointed accommodation annexe nearby in which we stayed. The room was clean with good facilities, and very quiet. We had an excellent outdoor dinner on the evening of our stay.
Super cute hotel, in the heart of the countryside. We had a very nice dinner at the pub's hotel and slept really well in our comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing. All the staff was extremely friendly and professional. Would love to go back anytime.
The breakfast and the dinner were super and the staff were all very friendly, as were the locals in the bar too :)
