The food we had for dinner and breakfast was fantastic and the staff very helpful. The hotel is lovely and well situated in the Cotswolds. Its decor is a little tired perhaps but that did not detract from a lovely stay.

Breakfast was very good. The room was spotless and had air conditioning which was very welcome in the hot weather. Our room overlooked the hotel outdoor eating area and gardens. Plenty of hot water for a shower but no walk in shower just a shower attached to the bath. Bath robes and bottled water were a welcomed addition. We didn't have dinner at the hotel.

We stayed in a room in the courtyard, which was spacious and clean. The bathroom was enormous! Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel, freshly cooked with local ingredients. We ate in the hotel for dinner twice and the menu was small but we didn't struggle to find dishes to enjoy. The King Prawn Red Curry was a particular highlight

The room was a little rustic, but clean and comfy. It was nice to have a little couch to sit on after a long day of hiking around. The breakfast was very good and the dinner we enjoyed in the pub far exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great sunset view of rooftops from the top of the stairs.
