Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Honestly, everything. Our room was perfect, the bar was nice to go sit in and have a drink when we wanted. The food was good (both breakfast and dinner). And the location was amazing.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Large, comfortable and extremely clean en-suite room with great facilities. Good choice of breakfast options and well cooked. We ate in the hotel on each of the three nights of our stay in the end as the evening meal menu was so good. Lovely sitting outside on the terrace for a pre and post dinner drink overlooking the castle as that side was in the shade after a really hot day but there is also a more private patio area at the rear which I think gets the evening sun.
The hotel was so nice and clean, I think it was the best hotel on the Isle of Man. Staff were super friendly and helpful, they just made the stay so pleasant and made us feel so welcomed. Offered to reserve a table for us for dinner and thankfully for that, because we didn't have anywhere else to eat.
