I had an early appointment at the passport office so location was important for me, a few minutes walk away the staff were very friendly. The hotel was generally quiet and the bed I had was extremely comfortable best nights sleep in months tbh Excellent value for money for an overnight stay.

Room was good. We stayed pretty long and were upgraded, so we had more space than expected. Nice. Walking distance to Cardiff Bay; also to the inner city, although some might prefer taking the bus (2-3 stops). They actively try to invite guests to join the common rooms in the evening to socialize, which some people followed, to have a beer or two and crackers.

It was very good. Everything was up to the mark. There were many cafes and eating places nearby from where I could enjoy my breakfast and dinner properly. The kitchen was also very good and it had many items.

I have stayed at The Angel many times. I’m more than pleased. Although it has been a hotel for a very long time it still retains the ability to make the guest feel special. I understand that a big refurbishment is beginning. This might be a little overdue, but Didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the stay.
