The location is stunning. We had a sea view room with a balcony. The room had very high ceilings with a beautiful large bay window! What a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view!
The room was extremely clean and decorated so well. Comfortable mattress and pillows. The shower was amazing, I didn't want to get out! Very large bath and very comfortable and spacious bathroom and room in general.
We were really pleased with the stay and we will 100% be coming back!

I have serious doubts about the booking.com rating system. I don't understand how this property received an 8+ rating, as I like nothing about it. There's no way this property deserves an 8+ rating.

This is the second time I have stayed at this inn - the staff are always very friendly, and the English breakfast is a good start to the day!
Located on the edge of Newport and just over a mile from the M4 motorway, the New Inn offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. Its restaurant serves a varied, hearty menu and free parking is available.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The location is brilliant, right in the heart of the city. Convenient parking available in the train station car park next door (£13.50. for 24hrs) Lovely room and a very lovely dinner.

It was very good. Everything was up to the mark. There were many cafes and eating places nearby from where I could enjoy my breakfast and dinner properly. The kitchen was also very good and it had many items.
I have stayed at The Angel many times.
I’m more than pleased. Although it has been a hotel for a very long time it still retains the ability to make the guest feel special.
I understand that a big refurbishment is beginning. This might be a little overdue, but Didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the stay.
