Lovely, relaxing and friendly Inn. Outstanding food. Highly recommend and definitely will return
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Wonderful setting with a pleasant short walk to the park looking out on to the water and a stylish inn with a true “unusual” touch. The dining area was enriched with old grandfather clocks, wooden saws, old typewriters, stuffed animals, hanging branches creating a true feeling woodland lodge. Food, drinks and staff perfect
We received a very warm welcome from Steve, our host..
The room and house were beautiful and so comfy, we slept like babies.
Breakfast the following day left us full all day.
The b&b was exceptional and so close to the Oak Inn. Make sure you book food fantastic.
Also, the Mocha cafe. I had lentil and carrot soup, delicious.
It's definitely worth a visit.
Loch Lomand was gorgeous, too.
Thank you both for such a lovely stay x
A very nice hotel right next to Loch Lomond. The family room was very clean and had a good size. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was a buffet including everything we wanted. Especially the freshly made hot porrige was. I just can recommend this hotel.
The Oak Tree Inn is situated in a beautiful spot in Balmaha very close to the water and to hiking trails. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the whole Inn seems to be very well-maintained. The rooms are in converted or new-built cabins and cottages and my room featured a very nice view of Loch Lomond. Parking is right outside the apartments. The Inn has its own coffee shop with excellent coffee!
Service at check in was excellent, pod was great and drinks in the room as requested. Dinner and breakfast were lovely and unexpected live entertainment made the night.
We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. It was good tasting. There were a group of locals playing games or having a meeting of some such in a separate room. It was nice to be in Balmaha verses Luss, which we found overly touristy. We found it easy to get to Inchcailleach Island using the Balmaha Boatyard. We stayed in Dan's Cottage. Our room and bathroom were very nice.
We stayed in a pod, it was just perfect and next to the hotel, spotless and the setting itself is idyllic, staff very friendly and professional. Dinner and breakfast very tasty...
