Comfortable, cosy room with a beautiful view.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast self service is good for a quick mealtime.
Pre theatre dinners were in good time for a theatre visit.comfortable bed , lovely room with view over the park. Dining room light and airy.
Apartment was excellent, felt more like a cottage, location was superb, everything was good from beginning to end of our 4 night stay, also Buxton is well worth a visit.
My stay was very good from beginning to end. The room was spacious and spotless and had a lovely view of the park. It was only a short walk across the park to town. Breakfast was a choice of fruit and yogurt, cereals and cooked with juices, coffee and tea. The staff were all very friendly.
Superb breakfast. Small room but had everything. Bed really comfy. Simple electric shower, so much better than so many fancy ones we've encountered. Nice towels. Fab location. Lots of pubs nearby for dinner.
What a beautiful setting ~ the shared space was beautifully presented and like a walk back in time. We had dinner in the dining room and found it be more than reasonable.
We spoke to reception before booking so we were offered a basic room with a window.
Fabulous hotel in a fabulous historic building in the centre of Buxton. Room was luxurious with easy access to the spa. The spa was wonderful and we felt very pampered after our visit. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were delicious.
Our room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay.
We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent, both the dinner and also the breakfast on the following morning. The experience was enhanced by the atmosphere in the restaurant - it is a lovely, spacious and bright room with good views, and outside seating for a drink on a warm evening.
Most of all I would comment the staff, all of whom (the restaurant sfaff and those we met at reception) were most pleasant and helpful Our thanks to them all.
Roomy cottage, very clean with plenty of kitchen utensils/equipment. The welcome hamper was a nice touch including milk for your cuppa after you arrive. Bathroom has been modernised and shower works well. The private garden was pleasant for sitting in. The local pub, Church Inn serves tasty food and there are a number of good walks from the village.
