Our experience from arrival to leaving was one of total admiration for the way we were treated and of the facilities were way above what we paid for
They were 5star and the host, David, was extremely helpful at all times

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We received a warm welcome, our rooms were comfortable, very clean and with exceptional views over the neighbouring countryside. The staff at dinner were very friendly and helpful and the dinner itself was delicious and reasonably priced. All in all, a very pleasant stay and the hotel looked after us very well,
The room was very comfortable - beautiful views across the Weald. The staff in the pub were very friendly, we ate there for dinner, decent vegan options. The bathroom was clean and well appointed.
Breakfast was excellent, ordered in advance for the time we wanted.
The Inn is full of character and compares well with our first visit about 5 years ago.
The food was on the whole really good and well served, even if my first choice had run out. The steak tasted excellent (but was a little chewy).
I'd come back for the Harvey's beer alone!
Very friendly staff, cosy room and attractive pub with loads of character. Comfortable bed. Excellent location for exploring a number of attractions on the Sussex/Kent border. Pleasing that the pub is not directly on the main high street, so it is a peaceful spot. Dinner and breakfast very tasty.
