Excellent location, superb food , very kind friendly host
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Nice rooms, nice touch with bottled water and biscuits. Well stocked with toiletries. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Thai food for dinner and the Welsh breakfast the next day was wonderful. Convenient location.
Lovely friendly welcome from the owners and staff. Our room was perfect with lovely views. We stayed for food on both evenings, which was supurb, and recommend the fish n chips with a pint of Butty Bach. Will definitely return when next in the area.
Many thanks, The Roast Ox Inn.

Very busy for a Sunday evening in a small remote Welsh village, great atmosphere.
A very warm welcome from Tony who even made room for our motorcycles in his garage.
The room was very clean and well equipped, the biscuits and sweets were a lovely touch.
The breakfast was fantastic and the fresh fruit and homemade yogurt was a real bonus.

The owners of this B & B have got it absolutely right. Lovely welcome, comfortable bed, quiet house, great breakfast. Then add the little extras that make your stay even better…fresh milk, home made cookies, spot on recommendation for dinner. Great overnight stop. Would happily return.
Very welcoming and informative hosts, lovely peaceful location yet handy for Builth Wells and only a short walk to various establishments for an evening meal.
Clean and Comfortable room, spacious enough and nicely decorated. Comfy bed, slept really well.
Excellent breakfast, Good WiFi, adequate parking and generally an all-round winner of a guest house. Thanks very much! 5*.
