Everything! It was a warm welcoming little pub with great staff. The food was delicious, the room was lovely and clean and it overlooked the river. Breakfast was also fab. The staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. It was our second stay and we’ve already booked again for later this year!

My room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were most accommodating. The location was what I needed to relax. Buckfast Abbey is a short walk away. I would most stay again at The Abbey Inn. Highly recommended.

Perfect location to break up a trip down to Cornwall. Dinner and breakfast both excellent. Lots of space outside to sit and have an evening drink before dinner. Boxer dogs are very welcome!

A basic, no frills pub with accommodation, the Abbey Inn has a traditional feel to it and a pleasant atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and helpful and I had a pleasant stay. It sits right beside the River Dart and the view of it from the terrace was lovely. I briefly saw a Kingfisher flash along the river and then it was gone. My room was nice and clean and perfectly adequate for a single occupant and the shower and loo were fine. Good breakfast, all freshly cooked to order.

Location was perfect! I loved the river and it was very close to the motorway. Staff was friendly and breakfast delicious. It was a shame there was no chef to prepare dinner meals (which was explained well. Some things cannot be helped) so I had to find another place to eat after a long day of travelling. But staff was friendly and helped with some recommendations.

Everything was excellent except the basin in the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. Looks like an Architect's stamp but totally impractical. Staff, service ,dinner, breakfast were all excellent and we would love to return.
