The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and showed us to our room and let us know about the heating which was great, as it was a cold evening. The room and whole building was very warm, welcoming, and peaceful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I had the full English and my partner Eggs Benedict, and we both agreed it was the best breakfast we had had in a long time! The location is great, a short drive from Worcester town centre. We would stay again with no hesitation.

Great location in Worcester. The cathedral and the river are just around the corner. The inn has wonderful character. The staff are friendly and attentive. Martin is a great host.
I really liked the breakfast picnic basket put outside my room every morning. The ensuite bathroom was modern and immaculate.

Quiet comfortable room (furnished to a very high modern standard) above a popular restaurant.. Particularly warm and attentive welcome from Jane, who immediately arranged a place to park before showing us to our room and explaining how everything works.

It was exactly what I needed. A clean comfy (really comfy) bed, a nice hot shower, a sweet gentleman named Bob who shared the history of the building with me.
A pub on the first floor.
Plenty to eat around the corner.
Perfect.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Amazing menu for dinner and breakfast, so much is made on-site from jams to black pudding to beers and bread. If you like your accommodation to have matching furniture and minimal this is not for you, its quirky and unique. Special mention for young Daisy behind bar.
Gorgeous old building full of character. Big rooms, fabulous breakfasts and dinner. Friendly but not fussy staff and a gorgeous location. Shower worked really well and bed was comfy too.
A traditional pub with its own historic character in a beautiful setting on the edge of the Malvern hills. Local produce, home made conserves and fruit compots for breakfast - just beware the very large portions at dinner. When we return we'll ask for small portions. Friendly staff.
Homely pub accommodation with all we needed in our room.Location perfect for us as near to Shelsley Walsh hill climb. Excellent parking for car and trailer. The staff were very accommodating of our arrival on Sunday evening a little late for dinner and the breakfast was excellent with home -grown / made produce to enjoy. Very friendly staff. We will be back!
Good choice at breakfast & freshly cooked (although I only had cereal, fruit & toast, did not have cooked part). Also had dinner in evening which was excellent. Fresh salad from garden with home cooked food. Several friends had fresh pies from bakery on site. Staff friendly. Lovely views over countryside.
Excellent location. Delicious breakfast with fresh raspberries and strawberries and toasted sourdough bread. Coffee in a pot, butter in a lidded dish, proper napkins and fresh garden flowers on table! Sadly no time to have cooked breakfast. Imaginative very good dinner. 4 water glasses, not plastic, in our room, bottles of water and well arranged tea/coffee tray. We were given sheets And blanket as requested. Many thanks The Talbot, we shall be back!
