The staff were very friendly. We loved the room situation with the river views. It was warm and clean. The bar staff were very friendly and welcomin. They gave our dog a bed and a dog treat, a nice touch.

The Dinney is superbly located, and the quality of all its facilities is outstanding. It offers well decorated rooms, with first class en suites, extremely comfortable beds, and beautiful views. Karen and Keith are excellent hosts, providing a warm welcome, guidance on the area, and a very tasty breakfast. The entertainment provided by the three chickens outside the patio doors at breakfast was very entertaining.
The Staff were exceptionally pleasant. The breakfast was really good and the the amount served was spot on. Dinner and the carvery really lived up to its reputation. Our room was bright and airy with a view looking across the Shropshire countryside.
The staff were very friendly, the Inn was very clean and welcoming. I could imagine in winter it would be lovely and cosy with their log burners and comfy chairs and settees. Room was a nice size with tea and coffee provided in room. Breakfast was included in our price with a good selection to choose from.
Our room was spacious and clean so no issues there. Dinner portions are quite generous, had steak and kidney pie which while perfectly acceptable pub grub would have benfited greatly from a little pot of gravy being served with it.
Can't fault breakfast at all, quite excellent.

Stayed at the Down Inn as we were going to a wedding nearby. Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble…food was amazing and the carvery was excellent…Fabulous choices for breakfast. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you all so much.
all i can say about the room is WOW what a beautiful room/rooms we had room 1 in the courtyard, it had everything that was needed living room/kitchen, fantastic bathroom and bedroom.
Breakfast was lovely with a variety of options.
We didn't have dinner but ordered food in the bar which was a 10/10.
Country inn situated in open countryside between Bridgnorth and Ludlow, car essential. Spacious room, well furnished with stunning view across open countryside, plenty of parking but busy at weekend. Excellent full English breakfast included and super king bed. Restaurant with wide selection and outstanding carvery available every day, all well prepared and competitive prices.
