The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was very nice. The chef was very accommodating and made a lovely sandwich for me in the morning as I was getting an early(ish) taxi to the station.

Room was clean and comfortable also we had tea and coffee facility and left in the room to have with a cup of tea was a piece of chocolate brownie in a glass jar, breakfast was very nice and hot we had two evening meals both very nice, the staff were friendly quick to smile nothing was to much trouble, Yvonne carried all our luggage to the room lovely lady

Loved the rooms and the facilities. Clean, tidy and great decor. Good food, lovely vegetarian breakfast. Vegetarian sausage served at breakfast was amazing. Wonderful bath products. Loved it. The staff at the restaurant was extremely polite and nice. Would love to visit again.

Another great stay. We always try to book room 8 which has a nice flowered balcony to the front of the building, overlooking the outside bar area and fields. The bedroom is comfortable, although the shower room is minimal. Residents have their own entrance but access is also via the Smithy Bar. We particularly love the Watermill Brewery Beers and the bar food selection is pretty impressive too. Breakfast is always of a good quality, choice and plentiful. Plenty of onsite parking. Located 4 miles outside Windermere.

Great location, comfortable bed, lovely bar, very dog friendly.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The inn had a fantastic atmosphere and our room was lovely. Very spacious, but cosy at the same time with a beautiful bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the towels big and fluffy, the views scenic. What not to like? :) Also, the breakfast was fantastic, finally a place where they don't just serve full English for breakfast every morning, but you have other options too.
The Inn is in beautiful Bowland Bridge in the Lake District. The building itself is fantastic, beams, slate floors etc. the food is fantastic and the room was amazingly spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The Masons Arms has the most gorgeous views with the loveliest staff. Me and my partners had the best roast dinner we have ever had, absolutely delicious. We stayed in the crosthwaite suite which had everything and more. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely returning. Thank you 😊
A lovely place in a beautiful setting, very quiet and peaceful. The pub/hotel was full of charm, with decent beers ,wine and nice food. all staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nicely cooked and presented as was Dinner, with a nice menu on offer.
The rooms were of a good size and nicely furnished and decorated, the bathroom was nice with an attractive bath and good size shower.
The staff at the Hare & Hounds were extremely friendly and accommodating. They communicated very well with us especially given we were arriving late. They were delightful to our dog and made her feel very welcome. The Inn is charming and beautifully decorated. Very cosy! Restaurant was excellent and we sat around the fireplace until 11 reading our books with a lovely glass of desert wine. Highly recommend the Inn. Great location for trail walking too.

Location for us was perfect as we driving from Devon back home to Scotland. Very pretty village and beautiful countryside. Our room was extremely comfortable and particularly nice soap in the bathroom.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were super friendly, the room was immaculate and the pub food for dinner & breakfast was great. Would highly recommend!
