We stayed for one night for the Burghley Horse Trials weekend. The drive was around 30 minutes so a very good commute .
The room was cosy and comfortable . Dinner was very good and breakfast was exceptional. Very good value compared with staying closer to the event. All of the staff were friendly and very efficient.

A really nice and very friendly country pub with well appointed rooms/accommodation. Good food and a well stocked bar, with a good selection of beers. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely welcome with complimentary coffee/tea on arrival. Comfortable room, plenty of hot water, delicious dinner and excellent breakfast. Very pretty village and lovely property itself, tastefully decorated and a huge garden/ outside space including a really pretty terrace for al fresco eating.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Handy location for Stamford and the wider area.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Really friendly owners. Excellent food both at dinner...pie of the day...! and a full English breakfast.. Good beer, and a comfy bedroom located off the courtyard at the rear of the pub car park so lovely and quiet...
The decor - it is an old inn that is being redecorated into the colours they used to use - very deep colours - they work so well - and now I understand gold frame and details - against a deep medium blue - wow! STunning
The bull inn was absolutely amazing! Everything you needed was there! The food is top-notch, the owners are top-notch and the rooms are very comfortable!
I took my gsd with me and the garden out the bath was a great quite place for her to have a sniff around in. I went on a few walks around the village and it was very quiet and sleep. Only seeing afew joggers and cars.
I will definitely stay here again 😁
Lovely village, and exceptionally friendly hosts, Leo and Deana. Nice, well-decorated room with all the expected facilities, located just behind the inn, so removed from any noise. Excellent breakfast and also ate their the previous evening with a fair choice of meals that should cater for most people. Having been a wet day, it was pleasant to stroll around the village in the evening, and also to visit the church.
Loved the imaginative but tasteful decoration of the room/s. The pieces of furniture were obviously individually selected to compliment the theme of the room/s. The dining room for breakfast was also very nicely furnished with a warm yet rustic feel, and the service and food was excellent.
The owner and staff here could not have been more helpful. They had a big party on but made sure I had dinner and looked after me brilliantly. Cosy room, very quiet, nice dinner and breakfast and very good value.
Owners Daena and Leo are charming and most welcoming!! This couple is committed to keep this quaint little pub/ inn a shining star. Breakfast was delicious, our room delightful and very comfortable. We would go out of our way to stay here again!
Lovely spacious room , a hotel with more of a homely Guest House feel rather than a Premier Inn type hotel, which for me is perfect. Breakfast was very tasty and staff friendly. Will stay again if in Bourne ! Thankyou
