Great little pub, arrived on pub quiz night and they found a table for me when there were none left in the pub so I could order some food. Great location within the New Forest, and the rooms were really comfy and well appointed.

It was a very quaint place, very well designed and had an excellent, charming aesthetic. Truly such a magical little tutor cottage off the Lymington shores.

Excellent Breakfast (partial buffet along with served main plate. Other foods (bar snacks and dinner), well presented and interesting menu. Very helpful and friendly service. Rooms a bit funky but clean. Expansive selection of gin at the bar. Great location.

Great location which was 5 minutes from the wedding we were attending at a farm in Pilley, sunny front patio where we sat and had breakfast each morning , great sized kitchen with huge table for having a family dinner, comfortable beds and fab conservatory and garden.
Excellent spacious room in a very desirable walking area. Great to have fridge and kitchen utensils and fab shower with very hot water. We had Sunday roast pork dinner on our first night, 1 of the best pub meals we have ever had, and there was plenty, was welcome after our walk.
Cosy, rustic and super dog friendly. Beautiful welcome and Donkeys outside the patio gates.
Loads of hot water. Plentiful proper hot water and nice towels. Easy off road parking. Nice food in the evening and a lovely varied choice of breakfast.
The Turfcutters is a little diamond! A proper country Inn, its comfortable without being flash, friendly but not overbearing and authentically down to earth. Food is great, good beers and wine, rooms are simply done, comfy and nice to be in. Staff and locals are easy going and friendly.
Breakfast was excellent. There was a good choice including a vegetarian breakfast.
The dinner we had there was very well cooked - the chips were the best!
The staff were excellent, and the pub had a good ambiance. Interesting displays on the walls.
Cosy room with great little garden area at the front with seating.
The room was fine. Clean, tidy and generally comfortable. The breakfast and evening dinner we had at the pub was very good and reasonably priced. There was a good selection of drinks and the staff were polite and helpful.
just returned from a lovely long weekend at the Turfcutters Arms. Went with a friend and my dog and the facilities were spot on! location was perfect - close to some lovely walks and a short drive to Lymington and Lyndhurst. Cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pub food - breakfast, lunch and dinner - were all delicious! As was the beer! will definitely be back! Thank you so much to Simon and his lovely staff who were just perfect - nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!
