Location was great but the breakfast was non existent
Went to go for breakfast before I left and the bar was not open so didn’t have a breakfast. Said between 8.30-9.30 I was there waiting to enjoy my breakfast before a long day at work and the bar was all locked up no one to be seen any where . Very disappointed

Didn't opt for the breakfasts.
Cheerful, polite and accommodating staff manageress.
Dinner was good, just my particular portion for the beef stew was quite small. There was a good amount of very succulent and tasty beef, just lacked volume of liquid and bulk of root veg etc. The excellent manageress promptly and politely arranged for another portion without quibble!
Good wine list, service and ambience in a characterful bar / dining area.

We were sleeping in room 2 and the music from the bar was very loud and annoying as it went on til late and we had to be up at 5. Not much sleep!

Lovely place to stay. Very inviting and welcoming from check in to check out.
We stayed there because of attending an event at Shepton Mallet Prison, so location was perfect, only 10 mins or so away.
Room was very warm and inviting on a winters evening with lovely hand made cookies waiting for us.
breakfast was a delight especially the homemade Jam 😋 the restaurant staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.
highly recommended for a lovely meal and secluded get away.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
What a gem of a place. Such a beautiful area and the Plume of Feathers was exceptional.
Lovely room, clean and very comfortable. Our evening meal was delicious and the full English breakfast was just perfect. Lovely lady on the bar when we arrived and the host was very accommodating during breakfast. Just can't recommend this inn highly enough
This is the cutest hotel in the cutest town I’ve ever been in. The staff was exceptional. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing! Room was bigger than I expected, and the bed was very comfortable.
We stayed in room 1, a decent sized room with the largest bed I have ever slept in. The bed was comfortable, the shower nice and got, and we had a nice view from our window. Staff were lovely, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We had dinner and a drink in the pub in the evening, a nice pub with good ambience and a great selection of drinks.
A top quality traditional B&B with ample parking and superb locally sourced breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Debbie, including finding us a local table for dinner and even offering us a lift to our venue. Will make it our first choice for a future stay in the area.
lovely traditional inn , charming location and excellent value for money.
