The Cridford Inn, hotel in Bishopsteignton

Around 1 mile east of Dartmoor National Park, The Cridford Inn in Trusham offers comfortable rooms with attached bathroom.

I chose The Cridford Inn to experience a bit of old-style English Inn culture and my expectations were quite high. They were not only met but clearly exceeded. A very quaint and lovely inn. It melded modern amenities perfectly into the old building (mind your head at some places, people were smaller back then). All was clean, the staff very friendly and the food tasted deliciously. The Cridford Inn is situated deep in the countryside offering nice walks. I'd definitely like to stay there again.

Great location right off of the main road. The restaurant was attached so it was easy to make meal accommodation- and the food was superb. Beds were comfy enough and bathroom was updated. Love having tea, water and hot chocolate in the room.

This is now a regular haunt of mine when I am on business in the South West. The rooms are beautiful, both breakfast and dinner menus and food quality are exceptional and the Team are the friendliest and most efficient. Nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely decor. Really clean, good sized bedroom with very comfy beds. We were moved to a larger room due to having 2 dogs, without asking which was very considerate. All facilities you would need in the room. In a very good location with plenty of parking. We didn't have dinner during this stay but had a cheesecake topped with Baileys and brownie ice cream, superb. Very tasty breakfast especially the scrambled egg.

The room was amazing, you could call it a suite. It had a small longer with TV, o suite bathroom with an amazing rainfall shower and a bedroom with a view over the village to the river below, very beautiful. Lovely bar and dinning area with good quality food.

Great room which was bigger than we expected, very comfortable super king bed and excellent en-suite. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the bar for a couple of after dinner drinks. Breakfast was, as always, good value. Our third stay whilst visiting elderly relatives and it won’t be our last!
