A wonderful pub and the best place to stay in the area. Utterly charming staff. The lady that runs the place gave my daughter a horse shoe for good luck (for her interviews at a school nearby). Really lovely place.

The cabin was lovely ! Staff were welcoming. The cabin was very spacious and was fully equipped for us to cook a 3 course dinner for x6 people which i was super impressed with. Everyone said the beds were comfortable, and the cabin was easy to heat up to a nice temperature, but also cool down. Lovely location, and we went for a drive in to the local highstreet where there were lots of lovely places to eat.

The room itself was much larger than I'd anticipated and included a good size bathroom. The dinner was exceptional, great wine selection and breakfast was good too. However the main factor in us having such a great stay were the staff who were all friendly, helpful and very hospitable.

A spacious well-appointed room in a quiet location (away from the main pub building), with a view over open countryside. An excellent dinner, with friendly efficient service in a good atmosphere.
