Location was perfect with plenty of free parking.
The rooms are beautifully decoratored, clean, comfy beds, and comes with lots of lovely little touches that really make you feel welcome such as bottles of water, amazing biscuits and even a personalised notebook.
Other family members were staying up the road and were gutted when I showed them pictures because they wished they had booked in here instead.

The breakfast was ok except the staff never asked me if I enjoyed it or even offer me any toast even though the asked other guests and the muffin with the eggs Benedict was rock hard almost inedible!

We liked just about everything; from the friendly, helpful, visible owners and their great team, including restaurant, bar and domestic staff in the morning; tasty food for dinner and breakfast; warm, comfortable room; absolutely dog-friendly hotel; very reasonable bar prices; plenty of car parking. We had a superb overnight.

The staff were friendly.
The hotel room was nice and comfortable with the added bonus of bottles of water. There was even a couple of bottles of their famous ale to try.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast was a choice of continental or full English serviced quick and hot, dinning room clean like whole hotel. Helpful staff any time of day. Helpful because we had our grandson of18 months with us. We didn’t make it easy 5 adults arriving at different times for two day stay for a family wedding. Loved visit and would recommend.
The staff were super friendly and very efficient with booking in and the bar, restaurant and breakfast. The room was beautiful and very comfy. Great value for money. The food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. Great parking and very easy to find. Would recommend and definitely stay here again.
Warm friendly atmosphere and lovely bar which was serving Happy Hour which was a huge success. The room was nicely decorated but can be a little noisy with many motor bikes flying past most of the day. Food was amazing great curries for dinner and breakfast was superb too. Would recommend it for sure.
The cottage was so comfortable and homely! It had a lovely rustic feel to it and was impeccable! It was clean, comfy and so well made to feel like home away from home! I will definitely be returning!
Very good breakfast (English or continental), spacious room with large and confortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good location, near to Belper. The Indian meals served in the pub are very good too: we arrived late but have a table and very good dinner.
We loved our room, the bathroom was excellently styled. The downstairs was decorated absolutely beautiful. The staff was amazing. In the room you couldn't hear the traffic, the curtains in the room blocked out the head lights. Food was amazing the Indian dinner was stunning and the breakfast was so hot and tasty. Thank you we will be coming again very soon.
Incredible venue, modern and exceptionally clean rooms. Breakfast was lovey too. Members of staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Only regret is that we didn’t have our dinner there! Will be back again!
