The location of the hotel is perfect. Yes there is no view to the sea but its so close to it and the centre its just perfect. Staff were super friendly and the rooms were lovely too.

Lovely atmosphere in pub staff lovely and helpful. Room was very clean, perfect for solo traveler, complementary coffee teas biscuits & water . Very good. Evening meal and Breakfast excellent.

The Mountbatten room was just gorgeous - with a (partial) view of the cove. Large with a seating area as well as a huge comfortable bed and lovely linen.
A particular mention for the staff who were always so cheerful and helpful, providing fresh milk and sugar cubes for our in-room tea/coffee!
I would just mention that this room is right next door to the (upstairs) kitchen and whilst there is some level of noise, it didn't bother us or spoil our enjoyment of the room I felt it's worth pointing out!
We had a wonderful time at Bayards Cove Inn and would very happily stay there again when next in Dartmouth.
