I did not know what to expect from a Great Yarmouth hotel but this was lovely . Family room was a nice size with good facilities . Breakfast was nice and staff were very attentive
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
I liked that the tv had apps so we were able to use familar channels like at home.
I liked the drawer full of dvds in the master bedroom.
I liked all the information provided in the white folder.
Plenty of towels were provided.
The cottage is 10 minutes drive from Southwold and is close to the main road to visit other near by attractions.
The Angel Inn had fantastic staff and delicious food.
all good, a good old fashioned coaching inn, right in the middle of the town, large room, nice big double bed and plenty of room, nice selection of tea coffee and hot chocolate. nice sized washing bowl for washing face and hands, been a spoons hotel the bar was good despite not drinking in there this time, town itself very nice with the river 10 mins away
Breakfast was very good and all freshly cooked to order. Only criticism was that the selection of fruit was rather poor. Dinner was most enjoyable and in lovely surroundings - not gourmet food but extremely good value and again excellent service. Room was lovely - right in the roof and all beams - spotlessly clean.
Lovely setting, beautiful gardens, nice rooms, plenty of coffee milk ect nice walk into town and along the river dinners are really well cooked and delicious only very big! Will definitely return
dinner was excellent with a very varied menu. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. the outside areas were very nice with extremely well kept gardens Plenty of garden furniture and places to sit on a nice day.
breakfast and dinner excellent, and staff and owner were exceptionally helpful and friendly
Good shower
Bottles of drinking water in room a very nice touch
A very convenient and attractive location, with plenty of parking
Location was perfect for a wedding we were attending at Waveny House Hotel. Breakfast was not great. Both days the food was not really hot enough. However, we had dinner on our first night and that food was excellent! The room had a variety of hot drinks plus bottled water & biscuits, which was good.
Beautiful historic inn, lots of period features. We stayed in the Eln room which was amazing! We opened the door and just thought “wow!”
Great central location to explore Beccles town centre. Every little detail thought of in the room, very comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. Little extras like pots of porridge. Absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend. Staff were so friendly and helpful too. A perfect stay & we will definitely be back!
