Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The owner of the hotel and the sous chef made a delicious top notch dinner, and we were so happy with our meal. The dinning room is very attractive and old school. Our room was nice and had a large bathroom which was great. We had a small window as it was on the top floor, but other than that we were pleased. The staff was very nice. Also the hotel is very convenient to the center of town, the water and an enjoyable walk up and down the boardwalk , and a fantastic nearby bakery just behind the hotel.
I liked the fact that this hotel has character (and characters). The building is traditional and as you would expect all the furnishings and rooms are traditional. Thankfully the service was very nice and the pleasant atmosphere in the dining room was assisted by a hugely talented pianist who played everything ranging from classical to modern. I had a ribeye steak which was as good as it gets, the food was fantastic both at Breakfast and dinner.
Guest house couldn't be better situated with views of the Menai Straits and Snowdonia in the background. Short walk to the beach, pubs/restaurants and a lovely bakery.
The suit has everything you need with plenty of space and a welcome pastry, chocolate biscuits, tea/coffee and milk. Nice and relaxed feel from the start to finish.
Breakfast was fantastic. We also had dinner here one evening and the food was fine--not exceptional, but fine. The service was good. The menu didn't have much variety as compared with surrounding hotels and restaurants.
The house we stayed in was so close for everything we required. Car park/ Shops/ pubs and plenty of restaurants to eat out .quick mention for The Bold Inn in the town centre if you like a bit of sport to watch after a walk round Beaumaris great pint and very friendly staff. Also dog friendly.
