I have serious doubts about the booking.com rating system. I don't understand how this property received an 8+ rating, as I like nothing about it. There's no way this property deserves an 8+ rating.

This was our second stay, and it was as excellent as our 1st. The room was immaculately clean. It had everything we needed & more such as complimentary bottles of water. Great selection of teas & coffees. The location is stunning. We had a sea view room, which I highly recommend. The courtyard at the back is also very pleasant. This is one of our favourite places to stay. Communication is excellent, self check-in is very straightforward. The Beachcliff is a joy 😊

We had the corner room.. which looked onto the car park, that suited us fine, cheap rooms mid week, lovely Chinese take away just up the road.. great stay.. Will definitely stay again, the young lady was very hospitable, and even took us to our room. And asked us if we were happy.. witch we were,8 out of 10.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Cracking Country Inn with loads of space and facilities for everyone especially families. Very peaceful location yet quick access to Cardiff Airport and the coast at Barry. Staff were all excellent, despite being extremely busy on a Saturday evening they managed to keep everyone happy with their service. Food was homemade generously portioned and very good with an exceptional choice available. Room very clean and comfy and breakfast next day superb, cooked perfectly to order. Can't fault it for a stopover.
The room we had was lovely and large enough for the four of us to stay in. The girls were able to sleep in separate foldable beds, which they found comfy, and we felt the same way. The decor was calming and the amenities were great too. Matt called us as we were arriving late and took good care of us. We will definitely recommend the Three Horseshoes Inn to others. The breakfast was also good. We couldn't have been happier!

Customer service was amazing. Karen and all the other members of staff were always polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and alterations were easily made for my dietary needs. There was always room for last minute dinner plans too, even when busy. Karen gave me great suggestions on where to visit and making conversation was easy. The room was very warm and cosy, due to the radiators and the space was organised well.
Excellent food, dinner and breakfast were lovely and a really high quality. It was a perfect location for walks we wanted to do in the Vale of Glamorgan, and was dog friendly too.
