The Bein Inn Hotel & Restaurant, hotel in Bankfoot

With a rural location in peaceful Glenfarg, The Bein Inn Hotel & Restaurant is also just 5 minutes' drive from the M90 motorway.

The room was huge and after we turned on the space heaters, it was very warm and comfortable. Everything was clean. Despite being on a road, the area still was quite quiet. The breakfast was lovely and dinner was delicious as well. The staff were kind and patient with us. We liked the location, as it put us a little under an hour from Edinburgh for our flight the next day, made our long drive that day a bit shorter and the stay was less pricey than it would have been in the city.

A delightful old Inn, just a very short drive from the A9, but a world away from the crowds. Immaculately kept rooms above the bar/restaurant which serves great food. Friendly staff. The room I had was surprisingly big, spanning the full width of the building.

Old pub in small town not far from Perth. The town itself doesn't have much to it - this is the only place for dinner. Rooms are upstairs. Our room was modern, newly renovated, nicely appointed. Very clean. Nowhere to put suitcases but there was hanging space. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was the usual pub food but well cooked. Heated towel rail in the bathroom and good shower.

Kudos to the Bankfoot Inn team, we really enjoyed the warm & accommodating service (Cathy & Gillian, specifically) and brilliant night’s sleep. Checked in just before 12 midnight and it was no hassle. Spotless rooms & bathrooms. Characterful old building with [what seems] recently decorated throughout, and to a high standard - so you get the charm and the modern/creature comforts. Delicious freshly cooked Scottish breakfast; chef happily made poached eggs on request (thank you, again, very yummy). Brilliant value for money.
