Excellent breakfast only one lady serving absolutely rushed off her feet but she coped very well and nothing was too much trouble. Fresh orange juice provided when asked for no fresh salad or cereals on offer just a cooked breakfast

Breakfast was excellent as was our evening meal and being a pub we were able to have a few pints and played some pool. Staff were excellent very welcoming, would definitely stay again if in the area.
Since the 16th century, The Spread Eagle has hosted historic guests such as King Charles II and the writer Evelyn Waugh. Today it offers a warm welcome, excellent food and free Wi-Fi.

Very friendly and accommodating and local feel to it. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even set aside dinner for later arrival on a Sunday.
Location with lots of parking. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the leisure facilities. Excellent breakfast and morning restaurant staff were very accommodating.
