We all thought the rooms needed updating, the one room smelt very muskey, when I booked the rooms it said they were all single beds, but it was 1 single and 1 double bed in each room, the web sight needs changing to be clearer on how the rooms are planned out.
The choice for breakfast was good.

The room was stunning. Our view was onto another building but it wasn't about that, the design, facilities and comfort of the room were stunning, we were blown away. The small touches like the dog bowls (even though we didn't have a dog with us, we are dog lovers and noticed them), the power show (wow!), the bed, just everything :)

The location was excellent for the reason of our trip to meet with friends. The evening meals were very good with a good choice on the menu, but I was very dissatisfied with the English breakfast on the first morning as It was very greasy and left most of it, the second morning I chose poached eggs but sadly these were over cooked.

Choice of dinning - restaurant or bar - was good could have been more selection
Full and good selection and choice at breakfast
We prefer always to have the option of a king size bed - as enjoyed here
Fantastic location for the stunning hotel. wonderful old building with so much charm and character. The view from our room was excellent. Breakfast every morning was 10/10 plenty of choice, including fresh cooked food.
Dinner in the restaurant and the bar were superb, more formal in restaurant, but the quality was the same.
Nice range of drinks, very good service from all involved.
Loved everything about the hotel, including the other guests! We would love to return
The breakfast offering was rather modest, but the service was efficient and friendly.
