Location was good, far from a lot of noise and traffic. Peaceful neighborhood. Parking may have been a problem if we had needed it. Staff were extremely helpful. They held our bags for us, carried them up and down for us, and they called a cab for us. We loved the atmosphere, and the food we had was delicious.

Comfortable beds, large room, free parking on site, helpful & friendly staff. It's an original / old coach-house inn, which has kept it's character, including various "wonky" floors / walls etc (all perfectly safe & adds to the charm). Well sound-proofed from the pub underneath, which was great as there was some awful karaoke going on that night!

Lovely old world coaching inn. Shame our room was above kitchen with 2giant extractor fans blowing smelly cooking aromas out. Room was very hot and uncomfortable even with a fan. Toilet seat hanging off. Apart from that it was good value for the money. Breakfast was good. Staff good.

The Hawk Inn and location are both fantastic, very easy to get from the A303 also just across from the pub is a loverly green where you can sit and enjoy a drink. The pub itself has a great feel to it, you can tell that the owners have put a lot of time and effort into both the inside and the outside. We traveled with two dogs and when being shown to our room (which was perfect) there was a little room set up for both our dogs with cushions and a little dog welcome pack.

The breakfast was very good value and included in the reasonable accommodation price. The Inn is very old and rustic which we like. We had an old fashioned bedroom which had a mottled assortment of furniture, lovely big comfy bed and was so peaceful we slept amazingly well. The bathroom was old fashioned and creaky but serviceable and the shower over the bath was actually the best we had on our whole trip including some expensive hotels.

Town centre location with free on-site parking at a very reasonable B&B rate. Helpful about last minute change of booking date. Very attentive, friendly staff. Good sized room with king sized bed and good sized ensuite bath room. Freshly cooked 'full English' with American and continental breakfast alternatives included in the rate. Limited but very reasonanbly priced menu of food cooked to order for other meals. Characterful, historic inn.
