Nice place with spacious, comfortable room. Food was excellent and reasonable value . Also, the restaurant fitted me in on a very busy Saturday night when I was alone so worth a mention!

First, the bed and pillows were maybe the softest, most comfortable I've ever experienced. Really. Next, the staff was amazing: friendly, congenial, informative, caring and responsive. Also, the bathroom and shower were first rate... best of our trip. The shower water always came out hot and strong! Also, the place was so very, very quiet. Lastly, the food served at the downstairs restaurant was really, truly good. We were so impressed with the Sauteed Mushrooms in Garlic Sauce on Chibatta... and the Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The Victoria Inn was comfortable, although the venue was fairly noisy until midnight but then quietened down. The room would benefit from heavier weight curtains as the room was very light by 5.00am.
The owner was struggling to keep the Inn going but she was such a lovely person and was really trying her best to give us a great stay. She went out of her way to give us a lovely breakfast before we set off on another days walking on The Pennine Way
Lovely surroundings.
Gorgeous views from rooms.
Large comfortable rooms with everything you need.
Very clean.
Good breakfast in closed and lovely menus for lunch and dinner.
Very friendly staff accommodating in every way.
The staff were brilliant, providing secure storage for our bikes and very welcoming. Lovely atmosphere in the Inn and very good breakfast. Best on our trip cycling C2C.
Great they had a triple room as we were cycling with our 13yo son.
Excellent location on the Pennine Way. Lovely, helpful staff, big spacious, light, warm room and a deep bath which was just what the doctor ordered. Tasty dinners, decent breakfasts. And kind enough to provide us with a towel for our muddy dog.
Good value for money. The single room was small but cosy, the breakfast is a real cooked breakfast. Close to shops and food, I really liked the village in the middle of a wild countryside. The lady at reception was nice and happy to help. Bear in mind this is an old inn run on the cheap and you won't get disappounted, everything works well and it served me well for my purpose.
The bed was very comfortable. The room (2) was very large with a lovely view. There was a nice relaxed vibe in the bar in the evening and the Guinness was nice. Breakfast was fabulous as was the warm reception delivered by the host also in the morning.
Really enjoyed our stay at Nent Hall despite power cuts plunging us into darkness! Staff coped really well with the situation and it all added to the unique atmosphere. Menus at dinner and breakfast were very good and the food was excellent. Great location. Looking forward to our next visit.
