Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The accommodation was perfect for us, a 5min drive from the beautiful beach and we really enjoyed having dinners outside on the patio, the seating and bbq were lovely. Despite the heatwave that we experienced the house was cool and Olivier brought us some fans for the bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again!
We spent 3 nights here with our kids and were so lucky to get upgraded to their apartment, which is huge! The rooms are nice and clean, but the best thing about Auberge Semnoz is the staff! Both at the reception and the restaurant! Super friendly and always a smile on their faces! The food in the restaurant is very good, so don't forget to enjoy at least one dinner here 😀
The people, the Chef, the staff….the location, the food, the wonderful attitude and also…as if there could be more…the location!! just out of town but by a lovely river and lovely walks with your dog! and yes they welcome cats and dogs no charge.

Well-taken care of, up-to-date, clean, small apartment with easy access to bike routes around Lake Annecy. We loved the convenience of having a well-equipped kitchen - very convenient, especially with a grocery store within a 5-10 minute walk. The balcony was our favorite feature. The owner had several brochures and pamphlets available and also made some great suggestions for both bike rental and dinners nearby. We easily found a parking spot in the lot or on the adjacent street.
The service was great and the dinner was also good. We were surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. Free parking, which is a plus if you go by car.
Great location, great views, kitchen/dinning area fully fitted. Easy communication with the host. Friendly neighbours. Good access to ski slopes (Semnoz and Margeriaz). Loved the place hope will be visiting again.
