Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Location was great for a stop off en route to Italy. Peaceful location; comfy room (if a little dated) - it’s more like staying in someone’s house rather than a hotel so please note. Dinner was lovely out in the garden. Didn’t stay for breakfast as we went to a Lidl in Saint De for croissants.

The owner was super kind and indicated a nearby hiking route and provided a map
lovely rural retreat set on edge of a forest with lots of walking and cycling options. friendly and attentive staff and really nice local food produce for dinner
The hotel is everything we wished for, charming in an idyllic location if you are looking for that remote spot in the middle of nowhere. Patrick, le patron does the cooking and is a charming host throughout. We ended up having dinner with other guests which was also a real pleasure although entirely optional. Would definitely stay there again.
Fabulous peaceful location in the Vosges. We were made very welcome on this our first visit. We had an excellent dinner in front of a log fire in a very cosy dining room. Slept well in a simple room that met our requirements. Had a very pleasant light breakfast before continuing our journey.
