Perfect lake view from the igloo. If you are lucky enough and there is a solar activity and no clouds you will see the aurora right from the igloo. Private sauna in the igloo. Rich breakfast is included. Delicious dinner is available in the resort restaurant. Recommended!

This is an old small wooden house, very cozy, almost magic. It has this special countryside feel. The kitchen is full with appliances, also there were many groceries in cupboards. There are many hand-made furniture items with beautiful hand carvings. Awesome little house to get the feel of Finnish country side. And ofcourse there is a sauna.

The location was great, close to the bus from/to Rovaniemi. They have a restaurant where you can have drinks or dinner as they are not many things in the surrounding area.

Clean, comfortable and charming. perfect distance from the bus station and from the zoo. in fact much less crowded than Rovaniemi with all of the same winter activities. Ranua is a precious little hideaway and this place is perfect to explore the Finnish Lapland. The breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly and warm - always helpful even with small special requests. Do check out their cozy sauna - it is so comforting after a long day’s activities.
