Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Nice place in the heart of the beautiful city. The room and all the facilities were clean and wifi worked well. The place has its own restaurant and cafe, where you may have a dinner and breakfast. There are a lot other places around as well. Nice museum is few minutes walk.
The property is a few kms out of Armentiera but the owner picks you up from the bar near the monastery. He was a great source of local info & also very focused on helping pilgrims. Our room was light, airy & clean , and dinner in the restaurant was delicious (plus we were served vegetables) which are often scarce on pilgrim menus.
The room and bathroom was clean. Weather was not good, so we didn’t use the pool area. Breakfast was good. Young man at reception was friendly and helpful.
The day we got there we ate lunch and dinner at Bar O Comercio which is close to the Monastery.
We had one night at Hotel Corinto. The sisters who runs the hotel are very sweet and serviceminded. We got a lot of information (info through WhatsApp) of what to expect, before we arrived, since there are not much possibilities, when it comes to food and dinner.
This apartment was above and beyond. Really great central spot. Super clean and comfortable. Easy to cook if you like or go out. The owners recommendation for dinner at O Portillo was fabulous too!
We had a great stock of coffee eggs yoghurt and fruit for our own homemade breakfast.
What a delight! If you are walking the Camino, the staff will pick you up from Armenteira Monastery in the afternoon, and deliver you back there in for the pilgrim's blessing in the evening, then pick you up again after Mass, then drop you off again in the morning to continue your Camino! For an extra fee, they also served the best dinner I had up till that point in Spain. The included breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Also, there is a beautiful wax stamp!
Ummm...WOW - what a place to stay while you're on the Camino! We loved staying here and felt right at home - we had a wonderful view and it was a very centralized location to the city center, which meant we could easily find dinner! The staff were super friendly and informative, and they were very accommodating to us and other pilgrims.
Very attractive pension in a lovely part of Pontevedra. Despite being in the centre we had a quiet room at the back of the property. Keypad system made check-in very convenient.
Our guest house was attractive and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and even provided vegan dinner and breakfast.
