The staff at the Locanda Pyramid Hotel are number one in my book! From the moment I made my reservation, there was open communication, and I felt confident I had made the right choice after reading the reviews. The team was incredibly friendly and kind, making every moment of my stay special.
I arrived early in the morning from my flight, and the hotel’s complimentary one-way airport pickup (for stays of seven days or more) was such a relief. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with open arms and warm smiles from the staff outside. I felt safe and welcomed immediately, which made all the difference after a long journey.
The next morning, the ladies at the hotel showed incredible kindness. The airline had lost my suitcase, and two wonderful staff members went out of their way to help me. They even took me shopping for clothes while sharing tips about the area as we walked the streets together. Their beautiful spirits and generosity left me speechless.
The hotel itself was spotless, and I could always spot the staff cleaning early in the morning and again in the afternoon. There was hot water everyday. My room was comfortable, and the view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious, and watching the sunset over Cairo from the terrace was an unforgettable experience.
The tour guide was the best. He took.me everywhere and was very polite and patience allowing me to ask a hundred questions. LoL.
One of the most heartwarming moments was on my birthday. After three days without my suitcase and spending the day exploring Cairo, I returned to the hotel where Besho and Hoss surprised me. They held my suitcase high in the air and sang "Happy Birthday," a gesture that touched my heart in more ways than one. The kindness and attentiveness of the staff made my stay truly unforgettable.

The staff is very professional, warm welcome, and attentive to customers, from the manager to the cleaners. Best hotel to stay while visiting Giza pyramid, you can't be this location. They give you a lot of water in your room, breakfast food is fresh, good option for lunch and dinner, 2 roof tops available. The cleaness is spot on.

It's a family hotel. It's clean and friendly. On our first night in Cairo, the innkeeper met us at the intersection and served us a good breakfast. On the last day because we missed the flight, thanks to his shelter, he waited for us until 2 am. The children in his family are very cute. The location of the hotel is close to the pyramid, about 15 minutes walk to the pyramid of Khufu. People can have the chance to experience the real life in Cairo in their home.

Perfect location close to Giza Pyramids and for those who really want s to see the real life in Cairo. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was rich-specially love the Egyptian falafel. The owner organized very cheap transportation to the airport. Absolutely winner of the Lotus guest house besides the hospitality is the terrace where you can enjoy the view of the pyramids.
