Extremely friendly owner Vinicio, easy to reach via email or WhatsApp. Vinicio even organized my ride from the UIO airport with a local taxi driver Angel, who gave me valuable information about the area and even brought me a tasty local kefir. Clean room, comfortable bed, delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I especially liked farm eggs, grilled trout and freshly squeezed juices. Excellent way to taste Ecuadorian cuisine. Super location between hot springs within few minutes walk.

More than the pics online can say, Mamallacta is filled with tons of details that make the difference! This is far from being "just a hotel"!. You see the care of his owner, Jonathan, for his place. The hotel is perfectly located to go enjoy the thermal pools (5min walk away). Jonathan also shared information on the current situation in Ecuador so the whole experience was just wonderful. One of the best dinners I had in Ecuador and... artesanal beers! BRAVO!

I stayed with my family and we all really enjoyed our stay here. The lodge has multiple areas to relax in and has a varied menu available for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were lovely and different each day. The spa is also right around the corner. The beds were very comfy. The staff were great, Juan was very kind and attentive to any questions we had. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Good location if you’re on a budget to visit the hot springs which was about a ten min walk away up the road. We ate both lunch and dinner there as restaurants are limited along the road. We were given a heater for the room as it was cold by Luis the owner. Luis was very polite and communicative on WhatsApp and helped arrange a taxi. Lovey view of the mountains at breakfast time and we found it to be very quiet.

Met Franklin immediately and he made us feel comfortable. Spa pools were incredible. Steak dinner was fantastic. We really liked the loop hike above the resort before relaxing in the spa. Front desk folks at the spa were very nice too.

Property is beautiful. Hot springs at your door 7/24. We added the spa which was a slightup charge, worth every penny. Nice large pools. Food was great. Large buffet for breakfast was included. Dinner was great. For altitude sickness try the coca tea, it really worked.
