Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain.
The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.
That was really a fantastic stay! The staff was very kind, helping us in an early check-in. The rooms are big, clean and the view is really amazing. The roof-top bar was extremely good for relaxing and swimming and we also enjoyed their dinners, as well. Wide selection of wines (especilly red wines). Highly recommended!
Comfy, cosy and well-equipped, with good choice of breakfasts prepared by the host, Richard. We had our own room and bathroom, with shared kitchen (which we could use for lunch and dinner preparation), in Richard's modest house. Located close to buses and ferry. It suited us very well, (though if you want to stay somewhere flashy and modern then look elsewhere). Some nice extra touches, such as the folding beach chairs we could take to the beach with us.
The location was great, close by the beach. The view from the room was amazing. The accommodation was great. There was ample space and the warm water was great. The bed was comfortable and had different firmness pillows to accommodate preference. The kitchen was stocked with essentials making it good for a longer stay. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic, both in dinner and breakfast. Location was on the main road and only a short walk to town.
The area is beautiful and the cabins are rustic. The common area with the swimming pool and the kitchen was really nice. Although there is no reception there, Grace made sure we had all the information before our arrival, and she met us as soon as she could, and kept in contact during the stay to check we had everything we needed!
Slightly alternative living - the paintings on the walls in our house may not be to everyone's liking, but... The staff is completely unreal, from start to finish you feel like you're among friends. In the evening, Isi will make dinner at a reasonable price, give advice, arrange... whatever you want. In the evening, in the main house, you can sit with others, talk, drink, ...
