Great location close to Freiburg, the Black Forest, Alsace region and Basel Switzerland as well the charming town of Staufen. The room was decorated lovely, with the reclaimed wood and the exposed stone. The host was friendly and helpful. We really liked the fact that they gave us a complimentary train ticket to use during our stay, which we used to take the train to Basel for the Christmas market. We definitely plan on staying here again in the summer to enjoy this wonderful region of Germany.

the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the good was fabulous! especially dinner but also afternoon cake, and a good choice at breakfast. we liked the location, we took a long walk in the forest every day and always in a different direction!

The place is simply GREAT. Our 2 year old had so much fun on the playground outside and in the swimming pool inside. The restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was nice with a nice terrace. Our superior room was really spacious. Very nice staff. Nice hiking possibilities and Naturschwimmplatz from the hotel/parking. Good opportunity to relax and calm down from your every day life.
Wow!!! We enjoyed so much! The place is beutiful, from the smallest details. The house is equiped fully for family and all is nicely arranged. The balcony is fantastic for family dinner. Close to many sights and not far there is a nice public pool for 9 euro per family. The hosts were very nice and kind.

Great location, in the woods, with several walks starting from there, very good dinner and breakfast, spacious and comfortable room, nice decor in the hotel.
The rooms are most comfortable, with excellent beds and a great shower. We stayed the night because we wanted to eat dinner at the Rebstock and the dinner was excellent, with great service.
Breakfast the next morning was perfect, served with a smile.
