Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Amazing apartments. Very well furnished: interior is sleel, cozy, and tastefully mixes modern amenities with rustic feel. Kitchen with all appliances, including really good coffee machine. Balcony with great view
Everything was perfect. It was easy to find a key following the instructions. The guest house is in a 2-minute walk from the center and all the most beautiful spots in Monschau. The room was clean. There is a kettle and a coffee machine in the room. In addition there is a little garden with a nice view on the old water mill. The sound of the running water in the river was so relaxing.
The room is very big with a kitchen and dinning place. The location is prefect! just 1 min to the main street. We are very luch to find this nice place to stay. The landlord is easy to reach and provide many useful information about the town.
Good breakfast. The house was build in the 16th century and rebuild in the 19th century. Very rustic but very clean. Beautiful basement (16thcentury) restaurant and bar. Good quality food at medium price range.
This was a wonderful stay in a charming town. We were warmly welcomed at our arrival, and it was an easy 4 minute walk from the closest parking lot. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs with a nice view and really comfortable Murphy beds. It was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of effort put into variety and presentation. We could walk right out of the guest house and stoll around the town at our leisure.
What an amazing find just outside the center (just 5 minutes walk). Loved that you could hear the babbling river from the bedroom. The lodge is rustic but that's exactly what we loved about it, everything was clean i.e the beds, linens and towels. Beds were very comfortable. The parking spot is also very handy in a town with not a lot of parking, although hopefully you are a confident driver because it is a little tight.
The staff was super friendly. Everybody tried to speak in English.
Breakfast was delicious.
The guest house has free parking in front of the reception.
This perfectly located, historical hotel was just what we were looking for for a few nights away. Our comfort room was large, clean, and the bathroom had great, old-fashioned tiles. The breakfast was good and we were able to have dinner in the restaurant. Our room looked out over the little river and the church. I didn’t find the church bells ringing at 6 am too bothersome.
The entire reservation process was seamless, from booking the stay, communicating with the hosts, and checking in and out. This historic inn was so quaint, the hosts were absolutely charming, the location was perfect, and the traditional home-cooked European breakfast was delectable! Our children absolutely loved staying in the third floor apartment that had such great space, historic character, yet modern amenities. We hope that we will be able to return someday!
