Great location. Owner was very friendly; room was a bit dated but very clean and perfect for our 1 night stay on our way to Austria.
Loved the breakfast! Would definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was excellent...one of the best we've had in Germany or France. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The hotel was in an essentially residential village but an easy 5 minute drive to Saarburg and retail services.

This hotel worked so well for our stopover on our drive from the Uk to Austria, that we also booked it for our return journey.
Clean, modern hotel, comfortable beds, nice shower and bathroom, and a great breakfast. The perfect stopover.
Last time we had dinner at the brilliant Brauhaus just next door (rack of ribs so big that my husband could not finish it!) but they were fully booked this time so we walked 15 mins into Merzig and had a lovely pizza at Sant Angelo.
Really great stopover location. Easy to access just off the motorway. Very modern, clean and comfortable and we had a double room with an inter connecting door to a twin room for our children. They served a great buffet breakfast, available from 0630, with a choice of cereals, yoghurts, juices, teas and coffees, boiled eggs and pastries, bread, ham and cheese. The staff were helpful and booked a restaurant for us for dinner and gave us free travel toothbrushes because we forgot ours!
Just off the motorway but quiet, we could still have dinner even though we arrived late, it is very clean and everyone was very helpful and nice, parking was easy, children liked really liked it, the food was very good.
We stopped for the night in Merzig on our way to Austria. The location close to the high way was convenient. They were so kind to allow us to have a last-minute late dinner in the hotel (the food was very nice !). Breakfast was very good with lots of fresh food. Rooms were decent, excellent price-quality ratio.
Excellent quiet village location, the rooms above the restaurant in the main hotel had very nice decor. Ample free parking right next to the hotel. Restaurant was lovely, we had dinner there. Breakfast was also very nice Continental food.
A very comfortable and spacious bedroom with an excellent shower. The breakfast was very generous, with a large variety of choices, something to suit all tastes. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and great value.
I have arrived in an all day pouring rain crossing Germany with the aim to stay the night and get to the ferry back to England the next day. The hotel is in a perfect location for that as it's only a few minutes from the motorway. When the front desk staff saw that I am on a motorcycle she offered to put it in one of the hotels secure garages. That was a huge bonus for me. Dinner was delicious and served beautifully and the breakfast was great. From now on will be the hotel I will be staying at when crossing Europe.
Location and breakfast were great. Had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. The staff was very accommodating.
