It felt like visiting a relative. Warm and quaint. Hostess was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was good. She runs the attached Greek restaurant which was delicious and felt authentic. Friendly and large portions of food. Great prices.

I spent one night in DAS SCHÖNE LEBEN Hotel, and I really appreciated it!
Travelling with my bicycle, I asked the staff to park it in a safe place, so they opened me the garage. Then, I chose to have dinner and tasted the delicious Black forest burger.
All along, the staff was perfect.
The room was spacious, clean, and with everything I needed for one night.
The hotel is perfectly located near Hornberg, in the middle of the Black Forest.
I definitely would have spent a few more nights to enjoy the sauna and the books.
Our Dinner was amazing. The Chef is truly gifted. Breakfast next morning was also very good. Vey friendly helpful staff . Beautiful hotel and location.

The reception was very friendly and welcoming, the house was very nice, we also could use the balcony and sit and have dinner outside. The dishwasher and cooking facilities were ok, there were enough facilities to cook and have a simple meal. There is a large supermarket (EDEKA) in town. Also, there seems to be a restaurant just around the corner where you can eat, but we did not visit this.
Breakfast was nice! Dinner was amazing!
The entire experience was fabulous!
